Welcome Central Region! As we enter another exciting year, I encourage each every one of you to get involved and take advantage of the countless opportunities that the Central Region has to offer. These experiences that you can take part in will leave a lasting influence that will stay with you well into your professional career. The Central Region Officer Team encourages all of you to take on positive and enthusiastic role in your chapter, sections and our region. As we look forward to an exciting year, we also challenge you to inspire others in the organization and to connect with fellow member to make lasting relationships. As FFA members we relies the importance that agriculture plays not only in our organization but, also in our country and our futures. With the agriculture industry employing approximately 22 million people in 300 careers it is one of the largest employers as an industry in our country and also the most misunderstood at times. The agriculture industry is under pressure and the consumers are increasingly unaware of how their food is produced and delivered to their table. American farmers and ranchers are key to feeding the growing world. Due to this we highly encourage you to get involved in your community, write a newspaper article or answer that question that someone may have about your project while you’re at a fair to educate others about agriculture as it is the back bone of the Central Region and the foundation with which it was built on. As your regional president, join with me in “Making an Impact and Leaving a Legacy.” Again the officers would like to extend the warmest welcome, and thank all the members for their continuous involvement and support.
